Sioux Narrows is where he met his wife, Margaret. They were married on Oct. 26, 1965 and together for 50 years, they raised their family on Lake of the Woods in Sioux Narrows.
Brian held several occupations, including commercial fisherman, airplane mechanic, tourist operator, and contractor. He was well-known for being able to fix anything.
His life revolved around his family and each one of his family members held a special place in his heart. He loved to share his passion of the outdoors with his family, as well, whether it be fishing, hunting, trapping, rice-picking, or watching the turtles, loons, or eagles.
Brian and Marg loved spending time on their houseboat with all the family. No family gathering was complete unless everyone was present.
