Brian Alexander Gibson passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at the Woodstock Hospital in his 75th year.
Brian was born on Feb. 9, 1944 n Winnipeg, Man. to Bill and Reta (Westover) Gibson.
Brian worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia in Red Lake, Ont., Winnipeg, and ended his career in Toronto, Ont.
Brian retired to Woodstock, Ont. to be closer to his sister, Heather Lewis, and her family.
He enjoyed being a Moose Lodge member, shooting pool, doing woodworking with his brother-in-law, Jim, and photography.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Reta Gibson; his sister, Heather Lewis; and his brother-in-law, Jim Lewis.
Bill is survived by his brothers, Gary (Luanne) Gibson and Murray (Margie) Gibson; as well as three nieces, three nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew.
Interment of Brian’s ashes will take place at the Barwick Cemetery in Barwick, Ont. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the Barwick Hall.
