BRADLEY WILLIAM PIHULAK

In loving memory of Bradley William Pihulak, 35, who passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre in Dryden, Ont.
Brad is survived by his daughters, Dylilah and Darci Pihulak; parents, Donna and Larry Pihulak; brother, Jeff and wife, Shauntelle, and their children, James Pihulak-Seeley of Winnipeg, Man., and Riley and Carter Pihulak of Dryden, Ont.; grandma, Lil Pihulak of Fort Frances, Ont.; as well as numerous other relatives.
Brad was born Oct. 8, 1978 in Fort Frances.
Brad grew up in Dryden, attending St. Joseph’s School and Dryden High School. After high school, Brad enrolled in a carpentry apprenticeship working for various contractors in the area.
He then went on to work at Home Hardware Building Centre, a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
Brad then found his calling as a diamond driller with Boart Longyear in the Red Lake mine.
Brad enjoyed spending time with his numerous friends and family, and most of all taking care of his two girls.
His hobbies included golfing, cruising in his car, listening and composing music, and playing guitar. If there was a sing-a-long and a campfire going on, Brad was normally at the centre with his guitar.
From oldies to oddities, he kept everyone entertained.
“Git-r-done” was not only a phrase Brad used, it was how he tackled life.
A memorial service to celebrate Brad’s life was held Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Dryden Agricultural Centre in Dryden, with Pastor James Wood officiating.
Interment of ashes will take place in the Dryden Cemetery at a later date.
If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to Jeff Pihulak (in trust for Dylilah and Darci Pihulak) through the Stevens Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 412, Dryden, Ont., P8N 2Z1.
