Bradley Hugh Plymate, who was born Nov. 8, 1953 in Fort Frances, Ont., passed away July 3, 2002 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, S.D.
He was the beloved son of Mabel (Engstrom) and husband, Elden Plymate, of Chisago City, Mn.; and father of Derek Plymate and wife, Patricia (Hosie), of Las Vegas, Nev.
Brad will be missed by his aunts, Elly Zub, Marg Canfield, Doris Calder, and Ardyth Nielson; uncles, Enar Engstrom and Bud Plymate; as well as many cousins and good friends.
Brad moved to Minneapolis, Mn. at the age of three and resided until his graduation from Kennedy High School in Bloomington, Mn. in 1971.
He served in the Army as a photographer until 1975. He then had many careers to include photographer, real estate agent, seed distribution salesman, general manager of several Black Hills gold jewellery manufacturers, and lastly the U.S. Postal Service, from which he retired as a Supervisor of Distribution Operations in 2001.
His hobbies included photography, sailing, and training his cherished Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Frances.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations can be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
