BORIS WASIL GOGOSHA

Boris Wasil Gogosha, 66, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Thursday, July 1, 2004 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
He was born March 31, 1938 in Fort Frances to the late Dan and Dora Gogosha. As a young man, he worked at Henry Motor Garage as a handyman and then at the Makabi Inn as a nightclerk.
He had lived for many years at the Front Street Manor and truly enjoyed his friends there. He recently had moved to Rainycrest, enjoying the activities and teasing the staff, and he had made a lot of new friends.
Boris was a real people person—he loved to visit with everyone and was constantly meeting new people.
Boris was predeceased by his father, Dan, on Jan. 24, 1987 and mother, Dora, on Oct. 29, 1978; as well as many aunts and uncles.
He leaves behind his brother, Ted and his wife, Iris, of Fort Frances, Ont.; nephew, John-Paul and his wife, Tanis, and their children, Brayden and Chanse, of Woodstock, Ont.; nephew, Christopher and niece, Jenna, both of Fort Frances, Ont.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Mr. John Chornabay officiating.
Cremation has taken place in Thunder Bay, Ont., and Boris will be interred with his parents in the Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
The honourary pallbearers were all of Boris’ family and friends.
