Bob Darrah of Christina, born June 21, 1927 in Fort Frances, Ont., passed on at the Boundary Hospital in Grand Forks with his family at his side on Sept. 28, 2002.
Bob was very active. Enjoying golf and curling games (and beer) with his buddies, and a healthy lifestyle that included many walks up McRae Creek Road. His most special times were with his family.
Lovingly remembered by his children, Rob, Gord, and Shannon; mother of his children; and friend, Jerry. Also survived by his siblings, Mae (Mel), Violet, and Tom (Doris); as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ab (surviving wife, Rosella).
A celebration of Bob’s life was held at the Christian Lake Com-munity Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002 at 2 p.m. Donations to the Boundary Community Hospice, 2320 78th Ave., Grand Forks, B.C., V0H 1H2 or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
