Sadly, the family announces the sudden passing of Blanche Booth, 74, of Rainy River, Ont., on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Rainy River Health Centre.
Blanche was born March 13, 1941 in Blue Township, Ont. to Ken and Olive (Selman) Anderson.
She was united in marriage to John Robert “Bob” Booth. They resided in Rainy River, where they raised their three boys.
Blanche enjoyed reading, sewing, playing cards, and spending time with friends at the Rainy River drop-in centre.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, John of Brandon, Man., Martin “Brad” of Atikokan, Ont., and Roger of Rainy River, Ont.; grandchildren, Robert, Shane, Brianne, and Miranda; and great-granddaughter, Kerri-Lynn.
She also is survived by her sister, Betty Booth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Blanche was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Olive; and her husband, Bob.
A graveside interment will take place at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River
