Beverly Audrey Sweney, 64, of Lac Seul First Nation, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 13, 2023, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Beverly was born in International Falls, Minnesota, on January 26, 1959, to the late Ronald Sweney and Patricia Williams.
She is survived by her significant other Ronald Wesley; her children Tabatha Jourdain, Amanda Jourdain (Glenn Smith) and Dana Jourdain (Charles Lundeen); grandchildren Tamara, Johnathan, Jordan, Jake, Damon, Izzy, Taylor, Nathan, Sarah, and Morgan; great-grandchildren Easton and Avery; also surviving are siblings Robert (Linda) Sweney, Mike Sweney, David Sweney, Nancy (Richard) Schroeder and Maggie Shoquist; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Beverly adored all of her grandchildren and enjoyed being with family and friends. She spent most of her time crafting, baking and playing bingo.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date to be announced.
