In loving memory of Betty Jean Munro (nee Bazylewski), who passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Keith Munro; children, Cory Munro (Theresa) and Toby Munro; and grandchildren, Taylor, Kaitlin, and Tyler.
She also is survived by her mother, Inga Bazylewski; siblings, Marion Bazylewski, Fred Bazylewski (Charlene), Walter Bazylewski, Kenneth Bazylewski (Marg), Joyce Hall (Alan), Doug Bazylewski (Kelly), Debbie Bazylewski, and Donna Patenasude; brothers-in-law, Jack Munro (Geraldine), Don Munro (Joy), James Munro (Mary), and John Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by her father, Harry Bazylewski; father-in-law, James Munro; sister-in-law, Janice Ross; and brother-in-law, Fred Munro.
Betty was born Feb. 29, 1948 in Stonewall, Man. On Feb. 11, 1967, she married the love of her life, Keith, and together they raised two wonderful boys.
Her favourite pastimes were cooking, baking, sewing, and gardening. She loved nothing more than preparing a delicious meal for her family.
Betty was, and always will be, remembered as being incredibly strong and was the pillar of her family. Her fabulous skills in the kitchen and garden were a marvel to everyone.
Betty also was an incredibly-talented seamstress, and her grandchildren benefited from her talent with the best Hallowe’en costumes every year.
She was big-hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at the Devlin Hall in Devlin, Ont.
