BERNARD JOSEPH AUDETTE

Bernard Joseph Audette, 66, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly on Thursday April 7, 2005.
He is survived by his wife of almost 39 years, Aili Audette; daughter, Kathy Audette (Tom Legaree); son, David Audette; daughter, Sandra Lockhart (Gary); daughter, Judy Mudge (Guy); and grandchildren, Sheldon, Cameron, Dylon, Ashley, Richard, Kayla, and Andrew.
He also has left behind three sisters, Juliette Smits (John) of Stratton, Ont., Helene Nault of Winnipeg, Man., and Marie DeGagne of Winnipeg, Man.; two brothers, John Audette (Lucille) of Fort Frances, Ont., and Steve Audette (Marilyn) of Alaska; father-in-law, Lauri Kari of Thunder Bay; sisters-in-law, Debbie Yurick of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Helen Audette of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother-in-law, Ed Haver of Emo, Ont.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Bernie was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Delima Audette; mother-in-law, Eila Kari; sister, Alma Haver; brother, Andre Audette; brothers-in-law, Leo Nault, Wallace Childs, and James Fischer; and sister-in-law, Jan Audette.
He was born Sept. 14, 1938 in Lorette, Man. to Joseph and Delima Audette, moving to Fort Frances at the age of two. He worked for 20 years for Canada Safeway.
He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, woodworking, and going for walks.
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 11, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Fr. Francis Pudicherry officiating.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at a later date.
The honourary pallbearers will be all of Bernie’s family and friends.
