Beatrice Ogier (nee Galusha), a resident of Rainycrest Long-Term Care in Fort Frances, Ont., passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 68.
Beatrice is survived by her children, Penny of Thunder Bay, Ont., Percy and Denise of Fort Frances, Ont., and Zandra and Anne of Manitoba; grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Dalton, and Sarah of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Elton, Sandy, Evan, Tara, Cody, and Olivia of Manitoba; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are her sisters, Mary Côte (Jerry), Irene Orr (Blayne), and Bonnie Gouliquer (Ken); and brother, John (Cathy).
She was predeceased by her parents, Elroy and Ida (nee Irvine); brother, Ira; and sister, Heather.
Beatrice was born May 19, 1948 and she lived all of her life in Rainy River District.
She enjoyed crafts, mostly crocheting blankets for family, as well as plastic canvass, and making doll houses and furniture for the younger generations.
The most important thing to Beatrice were the visits with family.
A graveside service for family and friends is planned for a later date.
