Barbara Easton

Barbara Easton, 61, of 1021 Second St. E., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, May 12, 2003 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
She was born July 27, 1941 in Decorah, Iowa to the late Donald and Edna Emery. At an early age, she moved to International Falls, Mn. with her family.
Barbara graduated from Falls High School and worked at the Falls Nursing Home.
In 1968, she married Don Easton in International Falls and together they moved to Atikokan, Ont., living there for 12 years, then returned to Fort Frances.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Donald; sons, Larry of Nestor Falls, Ont., and Stewart of Peterborough, Ont.; brother, Jerry and Connie Emery and their family; sister, Martha and Jerry Harsnia and their family; great-aunt, Evelyn Anderson of International Falls, Mn.; aunts, Ilene Anderson of Harmony, Mn., and Jeanette Gates of Cresco, Iowa; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and father.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May16, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Frances, with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 15, 2003 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Pallbearers will be Ed Kivimaki, Jim Easton, Larry Gates, Richard Gates, Jim Leen, and Arvid Leinum.
