Audrey June Lloyd, born March 17, 1930 at Winnipeg, Man., passed away Aug. 29, 2000 at Nanaimo, B.C.
Audrey taught school at a one-room school house in Miscampbell, Ont. before she married and raised her eight children.
She moved to Vancouver Island in 1965, where she lived her next 45 years. She enthusiastically enjoyed her family, knitting, and many other activities.
She is survived by sons, John (Shannon) of Prince George and Art of Vancouver; daughters, Janet (Pat) McGee of Mackenzie, Marianne (Darrell) Robinson of Duncan, Juanita Douglas of Chemainus, Deirdre (Monte) Mann of Ladysmith, Becky Kehler of Nanaimo, and Ruth (Greg) Linde of Duncan.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Debra, John, Joe, Jarrod, Kahla, Derek, Angie, Keith, Sean, Cindy, Samantha, Xander, Beau, Blake, Sabrina, Savanna, Trevor, Darla, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Pearl, Cyta, and Kurtis; six step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by ex-husband, Alf Lloyd of Duncan; sister, Shirley (Nick) Mutz of Devlin, Ont.; brother, Dennis (Shirley) Livingstone of Fort Frances, Ont.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Arthur Livingstone.
A memorial service was held in Nanaimo, B.C. on Sept. 1, 2000.
