Arzella Y. Jerome, 93, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at the Falls Good Samaritan Center.
Arzella was born April 22, 1916 to Wilfred and Rosanna Cousineau in Fort Frances, Ont.
She was united in marriage to Warner Jerome on Feb. 9, 1948 in Fort Frances, and they had 52 years of marriage together.
Arzella enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping trips with her family.
She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and participated in many activities at the church. She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Tabernacle Society, and the VFW Auxiliary.
Warner and Arzella also enjoyed spending winters in the Bullhead City, Ariz. area.
Arzella was predeceased by her husband, Warner, in 2000; her parents; and brothers, Earl, John, Clarence, and Virgil.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Jerome and Roger Jerome, both of International Falls, Mn.; and grandson, Dustin (Liz) of Duluth, Mn.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral mass on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls.
The rosary began at 9:30 a.m.
Interment was in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
