In loving memory of Arthur Fischer, 85, of Fort Frances, Ont., who passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Else; children, Hannelore and husband, Ulke Helder, of Bergland, Ont., Ralf and wife, Odette, of Winnipeg, Man., Monika and husband, Geoff Armitstead, of Medicine Hat, Alta., and Karl-Heins and wife, Gay-Dawn, of British Columbia; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He also leaves behind one brother, Otto and wife, Anne, of Germany; and sisters, Hertha Fischer and Hanna Fischer, both of Germany.
A memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 4, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Frances. Pastor Brian Keffer officiated.
Interment of Arthur’s cremated remains was held Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999 at the Bergland Cemetery in Bergland, Ont.
