It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold Frank (Poncho) Miller announces his passing on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Sask.
Arnold was born in Crozier, Ont. on Sept. 12, 1939.
He fulfilled a career with the CNR in the Miniota, Man. area and enjoyed very much his early retirement, which allowed him the freedom to pursue the two passions in his life: grandchildren and travelling.
His grandchildren were his best friends, and the memories left in their hearts are both timeless and priceless.
He enjoyed his travelling in the family motorhome all through Canada and the United States, always stopping to visit where there was family.
He will be missed by his sons, George Miller (Bonny) of Moosomin, Sask. and Connie Miller (Connie) of Melfort, Sask.; daughter, Julie (Norm) Nicholson of Saskatoon, Sask.; wife, Adrienne Miller of Brandon Man.; grandchildren Ryan, Kimberley, Jared, Alyshia, Branden, Jaylin, Kylee, and Cole; and great-grandson, Maddox.
Also surviving are his extended family, consisting of many brothers, sisters, brothers-, and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Mark Miller, of Brandon, Man.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in the Roman Catholic Church in St. Lazare, Man.
