Arline MacDonald, 64, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, June 24, 2001 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. She was born in Kirkland Lake, Ont.
Arline was predeceased by her husband, Buddy Nelson; father, Roy Robinson; mother, Agnus Rind; stepfather, John Rind; and brother, Malcolm Robinson.
She will be lovingly remembered by her special friend, Harvey Parent, and her six children, son, Rick and wife, Terry, of Thunder Bay, Ont., daughters, Shelly MacDonald and special friend, Gary, of British Columbia, Debbie and husband, Shane Svoboda, of Fort Frances, Ont., Donna MacDonald and fiancé, Joe, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Kathy MacDonald and special friend, Tim, of British Columbia, and son, John VanNus and special friend, Melinda, of British Columbia.
Also surviving are sisters, Jerry of British Columbia, Helen (Emil) of Vermilion Bay, Ont., and Margaret (Jerry); and one brother, Bob (Rita).
Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Amber, Kyle, Leslie, Jennifer, LeeAnn, Nathan, Tara, Justin, Nicole, Danielle, John, Kim, Ryan, Amber, and Brandon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2001 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Rev. Patrick Playfair will officiate, with cremation at Riverside Crematorium in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Honourary pallbearers will be Ricky MacDonald, John VanNus, Justin Rodgers, Leslie Kernophff, Nathan Svoboda, John MacDonald, Ryan Payne, and Kyle MacDonald.
