Annette Mary Hayka, 67, passed away after her battle with cancer on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014.
She was born March 7, 1947 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Annette is survived by her daughter, Vanassa; son-in-law, Robert Wood; son, Kevin and his wife, Hedy; grandsons, Ian (Sarah) Selman and their daughter, Ella Grace, and Aaron Selman; siblings, Pearl, Don, Yvonne, Mary Anne, and Jenette; as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 9 at noon at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Mr. Dan Tausenfrende will officiate, followed by a luncheon at the funeral home.
The family requests no flowers but in memoriam donations may be given to colorectal cancer research or the Canadian Diabetes Association c/o Green Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8.
