ANNA FEHR

Anna (Penner) Fehr, 87, of Emo, Ont., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Anna was born March 2, 1927 in Hague, Sask.
She was united in marriage to Cornelius M. Fehr on Oct. 24, 1948 and together they moved to Ontario in 1963.
Anna enjoyed gardening and working together with Cornelius on the farm for 35 years until their retirement in 1998. In 2003, Anna moved to Emo and spent her days knitting and visiting with family and friends.
Anna is survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius, in 2003; parents, William and Helena Penner; parents-in-law, Isaac and Anna Fehr; seven brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, with Bishop David Penner officiating.
Interment to be held at a later date in Barwick Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Peter Fehr Sr., Cornelius Fehr, William Derksen, Wesley Derksen, George Rempel, and Jeremy Rempel.
