In her younger years she bowled in the local league. When the girls joined Brownies she became a leader and helped mold other girls in the area. In her later years she enjoyed darts, crib and gardening. She also had an extensive craft room where you could find almost anything for anything. She was good with a sewing machine and was willing to hem or mend any clothing her kids or grandchildren needed or make something to solve any problem that was encountered.

As per her request she was to be cremated with no funeral. A private interment of her ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Riverside “Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS!” campaign or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29.
