ANDY FEDORAK

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Andy Fedorak, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 after a recurring struggle with lung cancer.
Andy was born in Port Alberni, B.C. on Jan. 11, 1935.
In the 1950s, Andy and his family moved to Fort Frances, where he took up residence for the duration of his life.
He was united in marriage to Laura Wilson on May 3, 1968.
Andy drove grader and rock trucks for several different companies between B.C. and Ontario.
You could always find Andy tinkering in the backyard on small engines. He also enjoyed picking cones and blueberries, visiting the casinos, and spending time with his family.
He was creative in nature; a very particular, unique individual. He could talk to anybody. He truly was one-of-a-kind.
Andy is survived by his loving wife, Laura; daughter, Julie Paterson (Fred); and sons, George (LeeAnne) and Danny.
He also is survived by his grandchildren, Kristina and Cody Webb; sisters, Margaret McIntosh of Vernon, B.C., Lilly Fedorak of Drayden Valley, Alta., and Jenny Fedorak of Winnipeg, Man.; and many nieces and nephews.
Andy was predeceased by his parents, Andro and Anna Fedorak; his brothers, Jimmy and Zorro; and his sister, Rosie Fedorak.
He will forever be remembered by his loving family and his dog, Tilly.
