Andrew Link, 47, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
He was born March 14, 1961 in London, Ont. to the late Arthur and Marie Link.
He had worked as a logger and also was a “jack-of-all-trades.” He enjoyed fishing and camping, but music was his expression.
Andrew also loved to philosophise with his friends, and his presence cheered people up. He was a deep, intellectual man who was passionate about he believed in, and his love for his children was unfathomable.
He also was known to joke around with his family and friends, and was free-spirited, loving, and kind to all. Caramel, his “kitty,” loved him unconditionally.
He has touched all of our lives with his special gift to make life wonderful.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Adam and Kevin Link, and partner, Candace Dokuchie.
Also surviving are his brothers, Arthur and Joseph; sisters, Rebekah (Link) Gluth, Marie (Link) Fraser, Susan (Link) Walton, and Ester (Link) Ferriera; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration on Andrew’s life will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 from 1-4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Frances.
The honorary pallbearers will be all of Andrew’s family and friends.
In memoriam donations may be made to the Sunset Country Psychiatric Survivors c/o Green Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8.
