Andy was a wonderful husband to his wife, Geraldine Spruce; a loving father to Brad, Audrey, and Karen; and a grandfather who adored all his grandchildren, Raychel, Daniel, Matthew, Jordan, Stephanie, Maccum, Alisha, Kelsey, and Quentin.
He was a brother to Jimmy Spruce (Virginia) and Betty Kelly (Duane); and was an uncle to their children, Jenny, Shelly, Chris, Nicole, Mathew, and Liam, as well as many more nieces and nephews.
Andy also had many friends who knew him to be kind, a hard worker, and a fishing guide for many years and a good provider.
He grew up walking with the Anishinaabe traditional teachings, carried the community of Onigaming’s drums, was a lodge keeper passing on his knowledge to many, and was always there to help others in need.
He will be extremely missed and always remembered, never forgotten in our hearts from his family and all his friends.
A wake service was held Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 at the Onigaming School gymnasium.
A funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at the Onigaming School gymnasium, with interment following at the Onigaming Cemtery.
