AMIL ALEXIUK Sr.

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Amil “Comozi” Alexiuk Sr. on Oct. 21, 2019, with his loving family by his side.
Amil was born in Saint Boniface, Man. on April 9, 1945 to Fred and Helen Alexiuk.
Amil’s life revolved around his family. He was their “rock” and always had time to listen no matter how busy he was.
Amil was a very humble, hard-working man who put so much pride into everything he did.
He was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan who enjoyed spending time at his Chub Lake cabin and fishing with his family and friends.
If anyone needed a hand, Amil would be there without hesitation and would never ask for anything in return.
He touched many hearts and was respected by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved children, Sheri Alexiuk (Wesley), Cindy Veran (Chris), Michelle Alexiuk (Jerry), Nicole Alexiuk (Dave), Amil Alexiuk (Raylene); and his grandchildren, Andy (Tiffany), David, Nathaniel, Taylor, Brody, Katherine, Tia and Cora.
Amil will also be missed by his many friends.
As per Amil’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
Donations can be made to the Atikokan General Hospital because Amil felt that his care there was outstanding.
