ALLAN RICHARD WILSON

Allan Richard Wilson passed away suddenly on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ont. in his 55th year.
He was born in Bancroft, Ont. on Sept. 25, 1960, moving with his family to Atikokan, Ont. in 1964.
He attended elementary school and graduated from Atikokan High School (Grade 13) with honours. He then went on to obtain a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Waterloo.
His love of learning and his intelligence allowed him to pursue higher academic achievement by also earning a degree in statistics and becoming a Ph.D candidate at Western University.
He worked for companies like Dell and most recently Enbridge, as well as his own consulting business for a period of time.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family, volunteering, coaching kids’ sports, and being a loving husband.
Allan was predeceased by his mother, Lois; father, George; and daughter, Kathleen.
He leaves behind to mourn his wife, Marie, daughter, Bronwyn, and Joshua (Marta) Rogers and their son, Cameron, all of London, Ont.
He also will be deeply missed by his sister, Brenda (Wilson) Rideout, and special nephew, Spencer, of Atikokan, Ont.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service was held in London and cremation has taken place.
