Mrs. Alice E. Maxey, 81, of Chatham, Ont., passed away peacefully at Riverside Health Care Facilities on Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998 following a lengthy illness.
Her husband, Frank, predeceased her Dec. 8, 1994.
She is survived by her son, Jim, and daughter-in-law, Diane, of Fort Frances; sister, Maude Trudgen of Morpheth; and numerous relatives in the Chatham area and in England.
Cremation took place in Thunder Bay, Ont., with the graveside committal service to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham at a later date.
