ALBERT LAUZON

With deep sadness, the family of Albert Lauzon announce his passing on Tuesday, April 12, 2011.
Albert was born Dec. 15, 1932 in Rainy River, Ont. to the late Florrie and Antoine Lauzon of Pinewood, Ont.
He was united in marriage to his life-long soulmate, Michele Lauzon, on May 6, 1961.
Albert retired from the paper mill finishing room in May, 1991 after 38 years of loyal service.
In retirement, he enjoyed community service and his many hobbies. He enjoyed being a life-long member of the BPO Elks Lodge of Canada, an active member on Model Aeronautics Association of Canada, and hunting with his relatives on the farm in Pinewood.
He is survived by his wife, Michele; son, Lyndon, daughter-in-law, Tanis and their children, Anthony, Emily, and Ryan; daughter, Sharla Rae Lauzon and her children, Lauren, Jocelyn, Donald, and Gordon and their father, Donald Matheson; and daughter, Melinda (Mindee), son-in-law, Jason, and their children, Andrew, Alina, and Brianna Eldridge.
 Also surviving are his sisters, Edna Brown, Violet Schram, Judy Rissanen, and Shirley Armstrong; sisters-in-law, Yvette Lauzon, Wilma Amirault, and Margaret Solomon; brothers-in-law, Mike Solomon and wife, Darla, and George Solomon and wife, Alice, and their respective children; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Albert was predeceased by his sisters, Ruby Gaudry (Amie), Florrie Rahn (Jack), and Claira Lundstrom (Axel); brothers, Ben Morrison (Violet), Gordon Morrison (Minnie), Jim and Bill Morrison (Lily), and Charlie Lauzon (Bessie); and identical twin brother, Philip.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., where funeral services were held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Peggy Mason officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
