It is with profound sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Alan Lloyd Tierney, with his family by his side at the F.J. Davey Home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the age of 90.
Dear husband of the late Kathleen; loving father of Maureen Scott (Gary) and Susan Bradley; and cherished grandfather of Ryan Scott of Toronto, Ont., Kevin Bradley (Crystal) of Thunder Bay, Ont., and David Bradley of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
Al also will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by Jack Tierney (Peggy), Jim Tierney (late Winona), Betty Walton (late John), and Eileen Russell (late Cecil). Special brother-in-law to Frank Fowlie (Betty).
Friends called at the Northwood Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from noon until 1:30 p.m.
Funeral and committal service was held at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Anglican Cathedral in Sault Ste. Marie, with Rev. Nelson Small officiating.
In memoriam donations made to St. Luke’s Cathedral would be appreciated by the family.
