AILEEN L. HANSON

Aileen L. Hanson, 76, of the Falls Good Samaritan Center in International Falls, Mn., passed away Monday morning, Dec. 2, 2002 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 19, 1926 in Fort Frances, Ont. to the late Larry and Nora Hebert, where she resided until her marriage.
She was united in marriage to Harvey (Chet) Hanson on Feb. 16, 1946, at which time she moved to South International Falls, Mn. and resided there until her death.
She enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Her interests were curling, sewing, knitting, and visiting with friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Larry and Nora Hebert; and husband, Chet Hanson on July 25, 1997.
Aileen is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Grinde of Littlefork, Mn., Diane (Jerry) Martin of Fort Frances, Ont. and Mesa, Az., and JoAnne (Fred) Rusch of International Falls, Mn.; one son, Larry (Laura) Hanson of International Falls, Mn.; seven grandchildren, Becky (Todd) Janssen, Jeff (Jo Ellen) Butts, Cody Hanson, and Kelly and Derek Nelson, all of International Falls, Mn., Brian Grinde of Fargo, N.D., and Brenda Grinde of Denver, Col.; three step-grandchildren and their families; and four great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Elaine Hebert of Fort Frances, Ont.; two sisters-in-law, Myra McKibbage of Fond Du Lac, Wis., and Agnes Holden of Norristown, Penn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002 at 10 a.m. from St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls.
Interment will be in the V.F.W. Section of Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls.
Memorials would be preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association or donor’s choice in Aileen’s memory.
