Agnes Mary Lockman, 93, of Emo, Ont., passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Agnes was born Oct. 25, 1913 in Pembroke, Ont.
She had worked as a cook in various bush camps, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #145 Ladies Auxiliary in Atikokan, Ont.
She also enjoyed hunting fishing and ice fishing.
Agnes was united in marriage on June 19, 1952 in Sudbury, Ont. to Kenneth Lockman, who survives. Also surviving are her two sisters, Lorraine (Gerald) Bullied of Emo, Ont. and Rita Desgrasielliers of Atikokan, Ont.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Adeline Brigden; three brothers, Harry, Jerry, and Garfield Brigden; and five sisters, Estelle Brigden, Alice Richard, Joyce Wilson, Dorothy Munn, and Adaline Khober. A family graveside service was held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances, with Rev. Frances Flook officiating.
