It is with great sadness that the family of Adrian Blair Perreault announces his passing on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at Seine River First Nation.
Adrian was born on July 9, 1964 in Atikokan, Ont. to Theodore Perreault and Mary Morin.
He was a hard worker and very proud to earn his place in the local 1669 Carpenters Union.
Adrian loved fishing and hunting, being around people, teasing, joking, and laughing in Ojiberish. He taught himself to play guitar and loved to get together with friends to jam.
Adrian loved all his children deeply but had a special connection with his son, Tristan; after having so many girls, he was beyond the moon happy to have a son to share his life with.
He leaves behind his common-law spouse, Charmaine Boshkaykin; children, Cassia (John Carpenter) and her children, Keira and Easton, Natasha (Curtis) and her children, Aubrey and Isaih, Brittany and her son, Auston, Raylynn, Samantha, Randi, and her family, Nicole and her family, Laura and her family, Trinity, Tristan and Aurdianna.
He also is survived by his siblings, Marge, Amanda and her children, Tim, Kateri, Levi, Thunder, Noah, Skylar, and Lokota, Perry and his children, Dakota, Farrell, Munzeroy, and Greg, Theresa and her children, Gerald, Kimberly, Wendy, and Destiney, and Jeff and his children, Cody, Alfreda, Sandra, and Serena; and stepfather, Emile Morin.
Adrian was predeceased by his parents; brother, Theodore; and niece, Rebecca.
A traditional wake was held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Seine River First Nation Gymnasium.
Elder George Boshkaykin will officiate at the traditional service on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.
The pallbearers will be John Spoon Jr., Howard Whitecrow, John Kabatay Jr., Rick Johnson, Roger Whitecrow, and Dorian Whitecrow.
