Wrong priorities

Dear sir:
A few weeks ago, the federal government announced the navy’s first West Coast sub arrives with a $750 million agreement to lease four used subs, with an option to purchase after eight years.
A little late getting here. We could have used them to burrow through the desert sands and appear in the middle of Baghdad to help restore peace in the world.
Or better yet, put the $750 million into the badly-needed Canadian health care system.
