Just the facts please.
Re: coverage of “Freedom Ride Hits the Trail” (Wednesday, June 6, 2001–Fort Frances Times Pg. B1 third-last paragraph).
The fact is, CUPE Local 65 is in a labour dispute with the Fort Frances and District Association for Community Living, not with NORTRA.
The fact is, according to past quotes that things are “status quo” (Alanna Barr–Fort Frances Times, Tuesday, May 30, 2001), management attending to client need have every right to bring said clients to NORTRA. It’s their decision, their choice.
The fact is, there are not 31 clients from Fort Frances and District Association for Community Living who attend NORTRA.
The fact is, any news worth reporting is worth reporting factually.
NORTRA is a worthwhile cause and I applaud Joyce and her efforts because I have seen the results and that is a fact!
