Worthless

Dear Mike:
Your heading, “Worthless sham,” more aptly describes [last week’s] editorial column than the message therein.
Great column if, in fact, Mr. Harper calls an early election and contravenes his fixed date section of the Canada Elections Act. Then it would be a perfect time to print the column and hang Mr. Harper out to dry.
There are far more important things happening locally that should be editorialized rather than speculating on future things that may or may not happen.
It certainly appears as though a little more effort and digging would find a lot more items worthy of your editorial.
The last paragraph of the editorial pretty much sums up what you would like to see happen, at which point you can say, “See, I told you so.”
Thank you for the space in the paper.
