Wonderful people

Dear editor:
This is a note to let some very wonderful people know how much they are appreciated.
Every winter for many years now, the Township of Emo workers and the great people at Tompkins Hardware build our tennis court into a wonderful skating rink. Tirelessly, they build up the four sides, clean it, and flood it for all to enjoy.
It’s a wonderful place to let your children skate and play hockey, and we know they are safe even under the lights that are provided.
Our children think it’s an amazing place to have, and even the minus-40 weather never stopped them from using this wonderful place with its fenced-in walls and lights.
A great place for fun, exercise, and enjoyment of all ages.
Thanks, again, for a job well done and for bringing laughter, joy, and fun to those who use our town’s tennis court not only in the summer, but winter, too.
