Who to believe?

Dear sir
Last week, a news conference was held at Queen’s Park by Ernie Eves, the minister of finance for the Government of Ontario. Mr. Eves stated that education spending has remained steady for the past two years.
He referred to drastic government cuts to education spending as a “myth.”
This past weekend, The Globe and Mail stated, “Over the two years, payments to school boards have been cut by $950 million.”
If you are not sure which of them to believe, call your local school board trustee. Any trustee. Ask them if there have been no cuts to education spending by the Mike Harris government.
Yours truly,
Rudolf K.F. Zeitlhofer
