What’s the delay

Dear sir:
I am writing to ask Health and Long-Term Care minister Tony Clement what is delaying the re-opening of Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances?
My mother has Alzheimer’s disease and has been in the Continuing Care Unit at La Verendrye Hospital here since June. Unfortunately, this is not a home.
She needs 24-hour care in a safe environment, and the one and only long-term care facility in Fort Frances has been closed to new admissions since March. Why?
I ask Mr. Clement to please look into this matter immediately and give our elderly a place to call home!
