Very appreciative

Dear editor:
Rainycrest is very fortunate to have strong community support. Our spring/summer is a busy time of year (all times are busy) and for those of you who help out with providing special events throughout the year, we really appreciate all that you do.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who came out for the elders’ fish fry in May, the Kiwanis and volunteers for providing the residents with a visit to Sunny Cove for a barbecue, and the Rainycrest auxiliary for treating the residents to a night on the town at La Place Rendez-Vous for a great dining experience.
In advance for the upcoming seniors’ barbecue slated for tomorrow (June 29), Bob Wepruk and his band will be playing while Ernie Calder Jr. and friends will be displaying their treasures (antique cars).
Good food, friends, and fun is promised—and all seniors are welcome!
We have more than just Bingo here at our home! Tours are available on request. Or if you would like to volunteer, call Heather Hudson at 274-9858 ext. 234.
Signed,
Heather Hudson
