Dear sir:
To say the very least, I was upset with your front page article in the Oct. 2 Daily Bulletin concerning a friend of mine I have known since 1982.
Unlike most of the population of Fort Frances who, unfortunately, have had a subjective view forced down their throats, I have heard the other side of the story.
It deeply saddens me that you could publish an article that only implies guilt to Mr. Anderson.
Living in Calgary, I get to see the best in sensationalistic journalism on a daily basis. I guess I was wrong in thinking the Fort Frances Times was, in fact, a responsible paper which is less concerned about shock value headlines to sell papers.
It’s Fort Frances, Mr. Editor, how many more papers can you possibly sell?
My only wish is that you try to be humble enough to realize what the mighty Fort Frances Times has done to the Anderson family. I hope your family is sleeping as well as my friend’s.
(Signed)
Bob Conlon,
Calgary, Alta.
