Tremendous effort

Barb Jodoin

Dear editor:
I appreciate the opportunity to use a small space in your newspaper to pass on a big thank you!
Once again, FFHS graduates were given the gift of a “chem-free” celebration. As a volunteer on the committee, I am now aware of the tremendous amount of time, effort, and number of volunteers needed to pull off such an amazing event.
Mr. Brian Gustafson (an FFHS teacher) quietly organizes this event each year without fanfare. He deserves a lot of credit and I would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Gustafson!
As well, I would like to express my appreciation to the “chem-free” committee, volunteers, well-behaved graduates, and last (but not least) the great communities we live in.
Our local businesses donate money, food, and fantastic prizes for the “chem-free” grad each year and without them, it would be next to impossible to hold such an ambitious event.
With gratitude,
Barb Jodoin
