Dear editor:
The government officials who took the farmers’ meat away from Greensides Store at night reminds me of a song I once heard:
“Snakes, crawl at night
That’s what they say.
When the sun goes down
Then the snakes will play.”
After the support supper meeting Nov. 30 in Barwick, nearly all the farmers in Rainy River District know where there are a lot of snakes. They are very close to Lake Ontario.
I think some of the farmers may have to go there. We all know they won’t come here because they may get harmed.
Our government has no COMMON CENTS—but they have our dollars!
Signed,
