Dear sir:
I read Bill Krukoski’s letter in the Fort Frances Times last week re a local place for people to gamble.
Mr. Krukoski seems to be quite for such a place, especially, if I understand correctly, that it’s supposed to advance our local economy. I had to think about this.
Some time ago, we had a young fellow on our farm, who was sent to us from a government-sponsored drug-rehabilitation centre.
He told me I was all wrong. He said all this drug abuse, etc. spurs on the economy. He said to me the police force is kept more busy, as well as the ambulance drivers, doctors, nurses, and hospitals, too.
Probably not quite the same thing, but anyhow, I had to think about it.
Yours truly,
Mark Gerber
