Dear sir:
On behalf of the CEP Local 49 in Fort Frances, I would like to thank the many businesses, unions, and individuals who made donations towards our strike against Bell Canada.
It is thanks to your contributions that we were able to hold out for a better contract that eliminated some of the concessions Bell wanted, gave 1,400 operators better separation packages, and guaranteed our contract with better wages and benefits for the next five years.
I also would like to thank the general public for their support and patience in our fight. Our group is looking forward to serving you again under a normal working relationship with our employer.
