Susan Cousineau
Dear Mike:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the “animal angel” who rescued the tiny black kitten that was abandoned on the Kenora Highway (it was found chasing a truck on a deserted stretch of the highway in the frigid cold).
No animal deserves to be treated with such cruelty.
You can help prevent the suffering of unwanted animals by having your pet spayed or neutered, and by reporting all acts of animal abandonment and neglect.
We also would like to remind all of our kind supporters that our 2008 Holiday Appeal is underway. Financial donations are always appreciated as we receive no government funding for our rescue efforts.
We are also in need of blankets, pet food, non-clumping kitty litter, and toys and treats to make the season brighter for our rescued pets.
As always, foster homes are desperately needed. Contact the Friends of Animals, P.O. Box 545, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8 or call 274-2144.
Sincerely,
Susan Cousineau
