Still left out

Dear editor:
Re: the story in last week’s Times headlined “Federal forestry package on the way.”
The federal government keeps dragging its feet in coming up with a national forestry package.
Kenora MP Roger Valley was quoted as saying, “We have to make sure it’s of value to everyone” and “The national government is not going to provide a program for one province.”
Mr. Valley has his facts wrong. The federal government already has announced a $50-million forestry investment plan for Quebec.
Northern Ontario is still left out. Taken for granted, as usual, by the Liberals.
