STEPHANIE DALE CARROLL

After her lengthy, heroic struggle with cancer, Stephanie Dale Carroll, eight, peacefully passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Man. on Thursday, July 2, 1998.
She was a very giving and caring little lady who touched the hearts and souls of everyone who came into contact with her.
She was born Sept. 22, 1989 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Stephanie’s passion was her music (especially Elvis and The Mavericks). She also enjoyed camping, reading, and being with her family and friends.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, Angela and Dale; sister, Jennifer; and brother, Christopher, with whom she shared a kindred spirit.
She will be missed and treasured by her grandparents, Martin and Lorna Selman of Fort Frances, and Elgin and Phyllis Huston of Carman, Man.; her Uncle Bruce and Aunt Peggy Selman of Fort Frances, Auntie Linda and Uncle Harry Goodwin of Kenora, and Uncle Elvin and Aunt Betty Carroll of Okatoks, Alta., along with their children, Stacey, Candace, Michael, and Michelle.
Also surviving are numerous great aunts, uncles, and second cousins.
Stephanie will be dearly missed by her classmates, the teaching staff at Robert Moore School, and all the hospital staff involved in her treatment.
Friends may visit Monday, July 6, 1998 between 7 and 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home. Rev. Patrick Playfair will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Dobie, Kevin Rambo, Jack Dillon, and Hector Gaune.
Honourary pallbearers will be Tyler Murphy, Zach Manty, Mary-Jane Farrah, and Krissy Solum.
