Dear sir:
I am a snowbird and have just returned to Fort Frances, hence the delay in responding to Harry Vandetti’s “Just Passing By” column of March 6.
First, I would like to thank Harry for showing sympathy to Israel in their war. Also, the mentioning of all the Jewish merchants that sold their merchandise in Fort Frances these last 75 years or so.
As I am the only one remaining, I would like to say “thank you” for the column and the kind things said about my brother, Alex, and myself. As a matter of fact, I am framing the “write up.”
I am 90 years old and I asked God for a few more years. I intend to remain in Fort Frances—where else?
