So proud

Dear sir:
Congratulations to the Chapple Heritage committee, council, recreation, volunteers, and to anyone else who helped in any way to make Chapple’s 100th birthday such a supreme success.
Each and every one of you have dedicated so much of your time and effort into making this such a success for all of us to enjoy. Thank you!
Due to work, we were unable to attend or help out at most of the weekend’s events and meals but those we did attend were very special.
There are so many people to salute for their efforts on everything right back as far as the first planning meeting and organization of events to the registrations, sending of newsletters, advertising, the setting up of the lovely landscaped waterfront and park (you guys all did a great job), planting of trees and flowers, and the planning and preparation of so many great meals for so many people (they were all great).
Then were those of you who helped to set up all of the displays, tables, chairs and tents.
Opening ceremonies also were enjoyed, along with the very well-organized canoe races (“From Mighty Manitou to Booming Barwick”), the stunning fireworks display, and the tours.
Thank you all very much. We are proud to be from such a lovely community, and we know there are many more people who agree with us.
Signed,
Carolyn & Calvin Stafford
