I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the countless individuals and businesses who were instrumental in making my recent spaghetti dinner benefit a huge success!
Diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in mid-October, I quickly was assessed and scheduled for surgery in Winnipeg this past week.
It was clear that I no longer would be able to work for some time and that there would be some financial challenges ahead during recuperation.
Everyone who bought tickets, made donations (financial, penny table items, silent auction, time, and effort), cooked, organized, served (thanks Fort Frances Lakers’ players), advertised, set up, and dismantled at the Couchiching multi-use facility, and took care of the many other details, made this benefit a wonderful evening.
It was very much appreciated.
I am thankful to all who have been in touch via texts, cards, e-mails, and phone calls to continue to support me and am recuperating comfortably.
