Dear editor:
We understand that people who work as OPP officers have a job to do like the rest of us in this world.
To me, it doesn’t give them the right to drive like idiots through a small town like Emo at an excessive rate of speed.
I understand they were on an emergency call. But what were to happen if two small children out playing on a Sunday afternoon on their bicycles accidentally pulled out in front of that officer?
What I’m trying to say is I wish some of these officers would have the respect for our province and children to learn how to slow down a little through a town site like the trains do when they are passing by.
We would like, as humans, to go home to our families every day.
Signed,
Jason Tessier
